Frosty the Snowman

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul. With a corncob pipe and a button nose, and two

eyes made out of coal.

Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say.

He was made of snow, but the children know how he came to life one day

There must have been some magic in that old silk hat they found, for when they placed it on

his head, he began to dance around.

Oh, Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be.

And all the children say he could laugh and play, just the same as you and me.

Thumpety thump thump, thumpety thump thump, look at Frosty go. Thumpety thump

thump, thumpety thump thump, over the hills of snow.

Aussie Jingle Bells

Dashing through the bush, in a rusty Holden Ute,

Kicking up the dust, esky in the boot,

Kelpie by my side, singing Christmas songs,

It’s summer time and I am in my singlet, shorts and thongs.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer day, Hey!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!

Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Engine’s getting hot; we dodge the kangaroos,

The swaggie climbs aboard, he is welcome too.

All the family’s there, sitting by the pool,

Christmas day the Aussie way, by the barbecue.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer day, Hey!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!

Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Come the afternoon, Grandpa has a doze,

The kids and Uncle Bruce, are swimming in their clothes.

The time comes ‘round to go, we take the family snap,

Pack the car and all shoot through, before the washing up.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way,

Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer day, Hey!

Jingle bells, jingle bells, Christmas time is beaut!

Oh what fun it is to ride in a rusty Holden Ute.

Jingle Bell Rock

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock, jingle bell swing and jingle bell ring.

Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun, now the jingle hop has begun.

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock, jingle bells chime in jingle bell time.

Dancing and prancing in Jingle bell Square, in the frosty air.

What a bright time, it’s the right time to rock the night away.

Jingle bell is a swell time to go gliding in one horse sleigh.

Giddy up, jingle horse pick up your feet, jingle around the clock.

Mix and mingle in a jingle bell beat, thats the jingle bell,

thats the jingle bell, that’s the jingle bell rock.

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,

In the lane, snow is glistening.

A beautiful sight,

We're happy tonight.

Walking in a winter wonderland.

Gone away is the bluebird,

Here to stay is a new bird

He sings a love song,

As we go along,

Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman

Then pretend that he is Parson Brown

He'll say: Are you married?

We'll say: No man

But you can do the job

When you're in town.

Later on, we'll conspire,

As we dream by the fire

To face unafraid,

The plans that we've made,

Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,

And pretend that he's a circus clown

We'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,

Until the other kids knock him down.

When it snows, ain't it thrilling,

Though your nose gets a chilling

We'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,

Walking in a winter wonderland.

Away in a Manger

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed,

the little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head.

The stars in the bright sky look down where he lay,

the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes,

but little Lord Jesus no crying makes.

I love you, Lord Jesus; look down from the sky,

and stay by my side until morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask you to stay,

close by me forever, and love me, I pray.

Bless all the dear children in your tender care,

and take us to heaven, to live with you there.’

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night!

All is calm, all is bright.

Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child.

Holy infant so tender and mild,

Sleep in heavenly peace,

Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night!

Shepherds quake at the sight.

Glories stream from heaven afar

Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!

Christ, the Saviour is born,

Christ the Saviour is born.

Silent night, holy night!

Son of God, love's pure light.

Radiant beams from Thy holy face

With the dawn of redeeming grace,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,

Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

I Saw Mummy Kissing Santa Claus

Christmas toys all over the place,

Little Jonny wears a funny smile upon his face;

For Jonny has a secret, and this secret he must share,

He wants to tell somebody, so he tells his teddy bear.

I saw Mummy kissing Santa Claus

Underneath the mistle-toe last night.

She didn't see me creep down the stairs to have a peep;

She thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep.

Then I saw Mummy tickle Santa Claus

Underneath his beard so snowy white;

Oh, what a laugh it would have been,

If Daddy had only seen Mummy kissing Santa Claus last night.

Joy to the World

Joy to the World , the Lord is come!

Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven and nature sing.

Joy to the World, the Saviour reigns!

Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.

He rules the world with truth and grace,

And makes the nations praise

The glories of His righteousness,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,

And wonders, wonders, of His love.

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Had a very shiny nose.

And if you ever saw him

You would even say it glows.

All of the other reindeer

Used to laugh and call him names.

They never let poor Rudolph

Join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve,

Santa came to say:

“Rudolph with your nose so bright,

Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then how all the reindeer loved him,

As they shouted out with glee,

Rudolph the red-nose Reindeer

You'll go down in history!

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow

In a one horse open sleigh;

O'er the fields we go,

Laughing all the way.

Bells on bob tails ring,

Making spirits bright;

What fun it is to laugh and sing

A sleighing song tonight.

Oh! Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way;

Oh, what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh.

Hey! Jingle bells, jingle bells,

Jingle all the way;

Oh, what fun it is to ride

In a one horse open sleigh!

Better not pout, I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town

He's making a list

And checking it twice

He sees you when you're sleeping,

He knows when you're awake

He knows if you've been bad or good,

So be good for goodness sake!

Oh! You better watch out!

You better not cry, you better not pout,

I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is Comin' to town.

With little tin Horns, and little toy Drums

Rooty toot toots and rummy tum tums

Santa Claus is coming to town.

And curly Head Dolls that coddle and coo

Fellows and Boys and Kiddie Cars too

Santa Claus is coming to town.

The Kids in Girl and Boy Land

Will have Jubilee

They're gonna build a Toyland all around the Christmas Tree
