S.T.A.R. Analysis: Charlesawalsh.com

Redesign Charlesawalsh.com, making it easier for recruiters to navigate the website, find contact info, and increase job inquiries.

I Addressed the website’s three pain points:

1. Poor contact info.2. Unnecessary pages.3.The design flow needs improvement.

1. Information design. I replaced the homepage’s photo carousel with a micro-bio, contact info, my linkedin and resume so visitors find my contact information instantly. At the bottom of every page is a call-to-action that direct users to the next page. I also cut any unnecessary copy from each page.

2. Design/Usability.By condensing the social media and content page into one section it simplified the website. I added arrows pointing to the CTA’s to guide users to the next step, and evntaully the contaact page. The CTA’s increase navigation speed because users can to go to the next page without scrolling up.

3. Interactive.Every button on the website is animated, increasing the clarity of buttons.

S.T.A.R. Analysis: Charlesawalsh.com

By adding contact information to the homepage, placing call-to-actions on each page, and removing the social media section from my portfolio, the user experience increases in navigation, information accessibility, and the design makes it easier to contact me for work.
