Chapter 17 - Principle of His Will

“But the testimony which I have is greater than the testimony of John; for the works which the Father has given Me to accomplish – the very works that I do – testify about Me, that the Father has sent Me.” – John 5:36 Christ’s works testify of the nature and will of God, and scripture is the recorded testimony of the works of Christ, therefore knowing the nature of God is to know the will of God in a heavenly sense. Christ taught us to pray that God’s “will be done” and His “Kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven”. The very basic nature of prayer is to bring heavenly reality to earthly circumstances; breaking chains, setting captives free, and injecting the light to expel the darkness.
