Q.1 Do you find that all living beings need the same kind of food?

Ans No. The food requirements of all living organisms are different. On the basis of the food

they eat, living organisms can be divided into three categories:

(i) Herbivores: Animals which eat only plants or plant products. For example: Cow,

rabbit, Goat etc.

(ii) Carnivores: Animals which eat other animals. For example: Lion, tiger etc.

(iii) Omnivores: Animals which eat both plants and animals. For example: Dog, crow

etc.
