Wednesday – Wisdom and Understanding

Start by thanking God for Christ who has been made unto us wisdom and truth. 1 Corinthians 1:30

Ask and pray for God's wisdom to abound towards you and every member of Chapel of Life. Ask that the eyes of our understanding will be opened, that we may appreciate who we are in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 1:17-18

Pray and ask for wisdom in all and every area where you or any member of Chapel of Life may be lacking in wisdom. Ask that God will reveal Himself to us in those areas, ask Him to instruct us and enable us to attain/gain to wise hearts in those areas. James 1:5, Proverbs 9:9

Ask for the ability to be attentive and be able to hear as God begins to instruct us in the way of wisdom. Ask for the grace to apply our hearts to wisdom and that we will not miss any opportunity to develop wise hearts. Isaiah 50:4-5, Psalm 16:7, Proverbs 2:2

Pray that God will grace us with understanding to draw out from the wisdom He has endowed us with. Proverbs 20:5

Thursday – Elections

Read and meditate on the following scriptures Jeremiah 1:10, Daniel 4:17, Romans 13:1-5 then pray the following.

Thank God for countries where elections are about to take place (e.g. UK/Nigeria). Regardless of what may be happening, God remains Lord over our nations. 1 Timothy 2:1

Pray and decree that God's will and desire will be performed where the elections are concerned. Pray that men and women that will yield to and carry out God's purposes and plans (willingly or unwillingly) will be the ones that emerge into positions of authority. Daniel 4:17, Psalm 75:6-7

Root out and pull down every plan of the enemy to thwart, distort, manipulate and disrupt the results of the elections. Pray that all ungodly plans will be frustrated in Jesus' name. Jeremiah 1:10, Isaiah 44:25

Pray and build up our nations in righteousness. Decree that righteousness will reign in our land and in every arm of government that we may enjoy the fruit and effect of righteousness. Isaiah 32:17, Proverb 14:34

Pray against and destroy every evil plan to cause terror, unrest and disturbances before, during and after the elections. Declare that God's peace will reign in the land. Psalm 122:6, Proverbs 1:33

Friday – Our Families

Start by thanking God for every family represented in Chapel of Life. Thank God for His mercies, faithfulness, love and grace. Thank Him for the gift of life. Psalm 118:28, Isaiah 25:1

Pray that our marriages will be strengthened. Ask that the love between couples will grow and increase. Pray that all married couples will receive greater grace to walk in love toward each other. Ephesians 5:20-33

Pray that family ties and relationships will be healed and mended where there is a need for healing. Pray that in every family, God's peace and love will reign supreme. Isaiah 61:1-3, Philippians 4:7, Acts 10:38

Pray for our singles and those courting that God's love and grace will guide and keep their hearts. Pray that those trusting God for their partners will be led by God to their partners. Pray for grace and strength to wait on God and not be in a hurry.

Pray for and ask for God's tutelage and protection for our children and young adults. Pray that they'll grow up in the fear and knowledge of Christ. Pray for wisdom and understanding for them as they 'do life' . Pray that they will not be influenced negatively but that instead they will stand out as godly examples in their generation. Isaiah 54:13, 2 Timothy 3:14-15

Ask God for good health and wellness for every member. Pray that anyone that is ill/weak will experience God's healing and life. Decree divine health and healing over Chapel of Life families and members. Exodus 15:26; 23:25, 3 John 2, Jeremiah 33:6

Pray for financial blessings and increase upon every family represented in Chapel of Life. Ask that God will teach and lead us in the way to profit. Pray and ask that every need be met and supplied through Christ's riches in glory. Psalm 35:27, Deuteronomy 8:18, Proverbs 10:22

Pray for God's protection for every family represented in the church. Ask that the Spirit of the Lord will lift a standard against any attack of the enemy. Decree that our families will experience safety and security under God's wings. Psalms 125:2, Isaiah 59:19, Proverbs 1:33

Pray and decree God's peace and rest on every member of Chapel of Life. Ask that God will take us into His rest for us as families this year and beyond. Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 119:165
