Hello, my name is Chad Hummel.
I hail from the rainy, Starbucks-infested city of Seattle, Washington, and I have lived here all my life.
Family• Two loving parents• One twin brother• One older brother (who attends TCU also)• And two Labrador retrievers.

Best Learning Experiences
Attended a classical Christian school from Kindergarten through 12th grade. • Curriculum: liberal arts, based on ancient Greek model
of education called the “Trivium” (three stages: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric).

In the summer of 2014, I traveled to Europe for the first time. I went on the Cultural Routes trip through the Honors College at TCU, exploring Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.
Favorite Learning Style and Environment
• A teacher that cares about our learning and growth• Classmates who strive to make each other better• Discussion-based classes instead of lectures• A quiet setting with very few distractions
Life Goals• Graduate with a degree in either Supply Chain or
Accounting• Raise and support a family
• Strive for excellence in all I do. Yet recognize that failure is sometimes inevitable, and in fact, often helpful. As Henry Ford said, “Failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.”
I try to limit my social media usage so they don’t hinder my real life relationships with people. But, I do use the following:
