Supportive:o This property has many recreational opportunities ranging from hunting
and fishing to mountain biking and wildlife viewing.o Acquiring this parcel would open fishing access to Warm Springs Creek
which has been closed in this area for years.o A great piece of property to add to the existing WMA. It not only will add
to the hunting opportunities in the area but has some fishing as well. Looks like a win/win in all areas for the public to enjoy.
o A nice area with access to the creek where the grandkids can go fishing close to town. Support letter by all ADLC county Commissioners. 20
Public Comments – FWP & NRDP 18 comments totalContinued
Non-Supportive:o I support the land being accessible for use by the public, but if you
are just buying another piece of land to put a lock on the gate, I will not support that.
21
o Acquiring this parcel would secure a calving ground, winter grazing, and an important nursery area for elk. Numerous whitetail deer use this area also.
