PIT Crews discusses the project and invites the Project Manager to the next meeting PIT Crew & Project Manager meet to discuss the proposed Training Plan Learning materials that need to be created are prioritized by the Training Team Learning event for IT TSS on supporting project/change QSC and knowledge solutions Training Team discusses learning plan with SME’s, Project Managers and audience members to obtain content Learning materials are reviewed by the PM/SME frequently for consistency and progress checks Webinars Self Study modules/videos Mobile Learning PIT Crew discusses what learning materials will be promoted in the communications and knowledge resources Learning materials are delivered to the PM Training request requirements Content and environment requirements q Who is the audience q Know what the “Result” of the learning should be–the goal, the WHY! q SME needs to be available to supply content that is relevant to the learner. q SME must review content and provide feedback on learning materials. q Vendor content must be reviewed by a SME before it is given to the training department to brand. q Environment must be completed in the look and feel. q Applications must be branded by Training department personnel before learning is created. q The environment must be stable and have test clients or data that can be used to create learning. q Training materials must be included in the communications process to promote learning availability. Time § After content is provided and approved, allow 2 weeks to complete QSC formatting. § Video learning modules need to be created once the project moves out of UAT and the environment is branded and stable. Once that occurs, filming of the learning modules can begin. This process takes about 40 hours for each 5 minutes of video produced. That includes the time required to go from proof to posted learning. § IT training webinars are scheduled each month and need to have at least 3 weeks’ notice to discuss the project with the IT department. § Clarity numbers must be provided for large projects with an assigned a project manager. © Grant Thornton LLP.
