Enrolments for 2021 have commenced via Zoom. D ear Parents, Families and members of the College Community, Over the holidays, demolition of much of the MacKillop block began. This is always an interesting process because you dont really know what you are dealing with until you begin. There were some surprises but nothing our creative architect, Al Santelli, couldnt deal with. One bonus for the Trade Centre is a huge amount of jarrah, as part of the 1975 construction, will be used for furniture making and other products: Mr Boshoff is very happy. The refurbished (old) D&T building will come online shortly - a new Multipurpose-2 Room, Fashion and Textiles, new Robotics Room and Special Needs Area. This has been an amazing transformation from the old wood and metal rooms. Earlier in the year, five students from the College studied to be Special Ministers to enable them to distribute Holy Communion at College Masses. The students have not been able to be commissioned yet and will have to wait until the end of restrictions to celebrate Mass. The other three students to receive certificates are Year 11 student Sam Dyne and Year 12 students Hannah Johnston and Lily Money. As we rejoice in the resurrection, may our lives and our work together echo the many gifts you have blessed us with for a purpose.
