This is to certify that the above stated project has been completed including the punch listed

items which were noted during the final inspection dated [12 Sep,2021] in accordance with the

plans, specifications and relevant provisions of the contract.

The Contractor guarantees and warrants the performance and completion of the construction

work to the full satisfaction of the IOM. This certification does not relieve the Contractor of his

obligations and responsibilities in undertaking repair works on any construction defects that may

occur within the warranty period starting from the Provisional Acceptance signing date as herein

stated. Neither he is relieved from his obligations and responsibilities pursuant to the provision

of the Contract.

The Certificate of Final Acceptance and retention amount will be released after the one

year warranty period. Contractor shall be contractually liable to carry out structural and

non-structural defective work (if found) during warranty period with no cost to IOM

aattrah@iom.int Any delay in IOM’s response shall be not used as a reason for extending the deadline for submission, unless IOM determines that such an extension is necessary and communicates a new deadline to the Bidders.

The Bidder shall seal the original copy of the bid in an envelope, duly marking Project name, the RFQ

title and Reference number. The envelope shall then be addressed to IOM at the address mentioned above.

The quotation that complies with all of the specifications, requirements and offers the lowest price, as well as all other evaluation criteria indicated, shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected. Bidders should submit only one quotation. No alternative quotations shall be accepted.

IOM reserves the right to award contract to one or more Contractors and split the Works among multiple Contractors, as it is considered favorable.

Notification of award shall be sent to successful vendors only. IOM will not send notification letters to vendors who were not selected for award of contract.

Any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price (obtained by multiplying the unit price and

quantity) shall be re-computed by IOM. The unit price shall prevail and the total price shall be corrected. If the Bidder does not accept the final price based on IOM’s re-computation and correction of errors, its quotation will be rejected.

At any time during the validity of the quotation, no price variation due to escalation, inflation,

fluctuation in exchange rates, or any other market factors shall be accepted by IOM after it has received the quotation. At the time of award of Contract or Purchase Order, IOM reserves the right to vary (increase or decrease) the quantity/volume of works, by up to a maximum ten percent (10%) of the total offer value, without any change in the unit price or other terms and conditions.

IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, to render any or all of the quotations as non-responsive, and to reject all quotations at any time prior to award of contract, without incurring any liability, or obligation to inform the affected Bidder(s) of the grounds for IOM’s action. Furthermore, IOM is not obligated to award the contract to the lowest price offer.

General Guidelines

Technical Specifications:

Design plans and BoQ are complementary to each other, hence the contractor has the obligation to execute the tasks mentioned

in either one of them. Incase BOQ and technical drawings have discrepancies. BOQ supersedes technical drawings. Follow IOM

site engineers site instruction at all times.

All the BoQ articles comprise supplying manpower, machinery, equipment, transportation all necessary requirements to get the

work done properly regardless of it's mentioned in the BoQ articles or not.

All the BoQ articles must be carried out according to guidelines of Iraqi Technical Specifications with updates and instructions of

IOM site engineers

All the BoQ articles comprise removing and transporting any debris or rubble to allocated disposal areas by municipality or local

authority

All the Pumps Should be complete with all electrical works ( Wiring , cabling , cable tray , conduit , Circuit breaker ,…etc.)

All the Pumps should complete with it is control panel ( to switch pump on , off , Shown status of the Pump , phase failure , Over

load , Prevent the pumps to work in case of no water ,..etc.) and all required Functions required By the DOW as well as IOM

Engineer instructions.

Any damaged parts in any system or structure due to the work in the site , will be responsibility of contractor to redo poor

workmanship without cost to IOM .

Pressure test is required and should be 1.5 times of working pressure and not less 24 hours at least and in case any pressure

drop , the Contractor responsible for repairing any leakage and remedy and defect till get the system without any pressure drop .

Contractor / vendor is responsible to delivered all the works to DOW and Local authority as well as IOM Engineer.

Follow DOW and IOM site engineers instruction at all times.

All supplied materials should be new and as specified as required in BOQ ( Similar Brands origin , equal or higher quality) ). Show

Curing for all C28 Mpa base foundation concrete works for pumps should be not less than 7 days before mounting pumps and

piping .

The work will include all the required excavation, backfilling and any other required works and accessories as instructed by the site

engineer work to be implemented according to specifications and according to site engineer instructions.

Any Steel work of steel structure should be painted with anti oxidized rust proof paint and 2 layers of oil paint.

Product certificates and warranties should be signed by pump manufacturers / supplier certifying accuracies under specified

Vendor provide Maintenance data for each type and size pump specified to include in the "Operating and Maintenance Manual".

The Bidder shall seal the original copy of the bid in an envelope, duly marking Project name, the RFQ

title and Reference number. The envelope shall then be addressed to IOM at the address mentioned above.

The quotation that complies with all of the specifications, requirements and offers the lowest price, as well as all other evaluation criteria indicated, shall be selected. Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected. Bidders should submit only one quotation. No alternative quotations shall be accepted.

IOM reserves the right to award contract to one or more Contractors and split the Works among multiple Contractors, as it is considered favorable.

Notification of award shall be sent to successful vendors only. IOM will not send notification letters to vendors who were not selected for award of contract.

Any discrepancy between the unit price and the total price (obtained by multiplying the unit price and

quantity) shall be re-computed by IOM. The unit price shall prevail and the total price shall be corrected. If the Bidder does not accept the final price based on IOM’s re-computation and correction of errors, its quotation will be rejected.

At any time during the validity of the quotation, no price variation due to escalation, inflation, fluctuation

in exchange rates, or any other market factors shall be accepted by IOM after it has received the quotation. At the time of award of Contract or Purchase Order, IOM reserves the right to vary (increase or decrease) the quantity/volume of works, by up to a maximum ten percent (10%) of the total offer value, without any change in the unit price or other terms and conditions.

IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, to render any or all of the quotations as non-responsive, and to reject all quotations at any time prior to award of contract, without incurring any liability, or obligation to inform the affected Bidder(s) of the grounds for IOM’s action. Furthermore, IOM is not obligated to award the contract to the lowest price offer.

Site visit is required for vendor to see / inspect project, and to submit a letter undertaking project site visited , maintain final BOQ price , complete project within IOM approved timeline

The work will include Supplying materials and all required fittings , accessories , tools and machine , installation , testing and commissioning and put in operation to get the system work properly as per international specifications , DOW ( director of water supply ) and according to

site engineer instructions.

The Price includes all necessary connections, joints, Tests and accessories to finalize the job according to specifications and according to site engineer instructions .

Any damaged parts in any system or structure due to the work in the site , will be responsibility of contractor to redo poor workmanship without cost to IOM .

Pressure test is required and should be 1.5 times of working pressure and not less 24 hours at least and in case any pressure drop , the Contractor responsible for repairing any leakage and remedy and defect till get the system without any pressure drop .

Contractor / vendor is responsible to delivered all the works to DOW and Local authority as well as IOM Engineer.

Follow DOW and IOM site engineers instruction at all times.

All supplied materials should be new and as specified as required in BOQ ( Similar Brands origin , equal or higher quality) ). Show sample for QC engineer approval before procurement and installation

Curing for all C28 Mpa base foundation concrete works for pumps should be not less than 7 days before mounting pumps and piping .

The work will include all the required excavation, backfilling and any other required works and accessories as instructed by the site engineer work to be implemented according to specifications and according to site engineer instructions.

Any Steel work of steel structure should be painted with anti oxidized rust proof paint and 2 layers of oil paint.

Product certificates and warranties should be signed by pump manufacturers / supplier certifying accuracies under specified operating conditions and compliance with specified requirements.

Vendor provide Maintenance data for each type and size pump specified to include in the "Operating and Maintenance Manual".

Certificate of origin.( Before supplying any materials).

Submittals Required for New Pump:

Product Data : Submit manufacturer’s pump specifications, installation and startup instructions, and current accurate pump characteristic certified performance curves with selection points clearly indicated. )Before supplying any materials(.

Wiring diagrams detailing wiring for power, signal, and control systems differentiating between manufacturer-installed wiring and field-installed wiring.( Before supplying any materials).

Submit technical data information sheet to specifications ( Before supplying any materials).

All the New Pumps Should be connect to the existing Piping using the required fittings and accessories for the connection must be carbon steel along with cutting and welding works shall be processed.

All the Items mentioned below ) Pumps , valves , fittings, piping , strainer, flexible connection , expansion tank , pressure gage , …etc.( should be PN -16.

Submit work plan schedule for project activities.

Cleaning the site from any debris after complete all the work.

Submittals Required for valves:

Product Data for each valve type. Include body material, valve design, pressure and temperature classification, end connection details, seating materials, trim material and

arrangement, dimensions and required clearances, and installation instructions. Include list indicating valve and its application.

Certificate of origin.( Before supplying any materials).

Compliance sheet to specifications.( Before supplying any materials).

All the old Materials such us ( valves, pumps , accessories ..etc. ) should handover and Store in DOW Stores.

All the Electrical Works including wiring , Circuit breakers , connection , conduit , cables tray , fittings , accessories …etc. )even if it not mentioned below (, with all required works to complete and get the system working properly.

All the Electrical works should comply with International standard and Iraqi codes.

All the below items and works should be warranty one year after final handover of work to local authorities , beneficiaries and IOM .

Technical Specifications:

Design plans and BoQ are complementary to each other, hence the contractor has the obligation to execute the tasks mentioned in either one of them. Incase BOQ and technical drawings have discrepancies. BOQ supersedes technical drawings. Follow IOM site engineers site

instruction at all times.

All the BoQ articles comprise supplying manpower, machinery, equipment, transportation all necessary requirements to get the work done properly regardless of it's mentioned in the BoQ articles or not.

All the BoQ articles must be carried out according to guidelines of Iraqi Technical Specifications with updates and instructions of IOM site engineers

All the BoQ articles comprise removing and transporting any debris or rubble to allocated disposal areas by municipality or local authority

Supply , Laying ,connecting and testing 6" diameter iron pipe (Sch 40) for filling system complete

with all required piping , fittings ( Elbow , Tee ,reducer ,..etc.) , supports and accessories, the work

include excavation , laying the Pipe , buried the Pipes after testing to make a line from the main

water line to the lift pumps and from the pumps to lift pipe(10 inch) , The work includes digging

with depth 100 cm & width 60 cm in the needed area , all cutting and welding works, installing the

pipe , covered with river sand then refill using clean soil , all work should be done according to the

requirements of the work and according to the direction of the supervising engineer.

*The Pipe Above Ground should be Galvanized Iron(Sch 40) with all required Support to fixing the

Pipe properly and as per DOW and site engineer's instructions.

* The Pipe below Ground Should be Ductile Iron Pipe(Sch 60).

Siemens brands , to operate the Water compact 60 m3 /hr. and should contain a starter 2 nos to

(20*60*80) cm .thickness 1.5 mm, in waterproof box,(Meters with Selector Switch) Schneider type

with bus bar.

2- set cut out fuse 11kv with bracket channel, 7 holes(1*210cm)with screws and rings and using

screws(16*250mm) to connect the transformer.

3- cables (1*95mm2) with 60 m length from the two sides the transformer and the network by using

terminals and screws.

4-copper cable (1*50)mm,10m length with two grounding rods(1.5m length X 19 mm2) for each one

with screws and belts to connect the body of the transformer from two sides to the grounding

network .

5- supply the base of the transformer by using bracket channel 2nos *210cm with screws,

6-supply bracket channel (3inch thickness*80cm length) for fixing the transformer
