His project was buildingthe new score box/storagebuilding for the HamptonBaseball Association atProgress Park ball field.He drew up plans, raisedmoney, and organizedworkers to complete theproject. This project took atotal of 304 worker hoursto complete.

Skarpness participatesin cross country, basket-ball, track, and baseball atHampton-Dumont HighSchool, works at ShopkoHometown, attends youthgroup at St Paul LutheranChurch in Hampton, andhas done service work forpark rangers in Wyoming,on a trip called Eagle Clawfor two years.
