Each high school in theKIMT-viewing area wasinvited to send two seniorswho meet this criteria. Over100 seniors from 48 areahigh schools attended theluncheon.

In combination with theScholastic All-Stars, KIMTpresented the Golden Applefinalists and Teacher of theYear. For over 20 years,KIMT has awarded an areateacher the Golden AppleAward, each week, during

the school year. The award isan honor to educators whoare nominated by their stu-dents, based on the impactthey’ve had on their lives.
