MESSAGE FROM THE UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN

Congratulations to all the authors being recognized at our 12th Annual Celebration of Authors. As always, the range of subjects treated in the books and chapters we honour today is truly impressive, covering topics ranging from glaciers to peace research, and from Indigenous entrepreneurship to game-based learning and exercise programming. We also include a healthy dose of poetry and fiction for good measure.

I am delighted to note a number of students included this year in the list of publications, and more than ever before from SFU's Writer's Studio. Authoring or editing a book or book chapter represents a significant output of scholarship and creativity. It is a pleasure to compile this list and to celebrate with all of you again this year.

Gwen Bird University Librarian & Dean of Libraries

The list includes publications by SFU students, staff, alumni and current and retired faculty from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.

We regret any discrepancies or omissions.
