Comparative adjectives

comparative is the name for the grammar used when comparing two things by using than.- We use comparative adjectives to describe people and things- We use than when we want to compare one thing with another

1- syllable adjectives: add - er to the adjective- My brother is much shorter than me.

2- syllable adjectives ending in -y: change the - y to - ier- She's looking happier today.

Other 2-syllable adjectives: use more with the unchanged adjective- Is there anything more boring than reading about poem?
