WHAT IT COSTSHOW WE PAY FOR IT

Membership over the past 5 years has remained relativelystable, having increased recently to just under 800 members. However, total annual commitment has fallen over this sameperiod due in part to the death of members who voluntarilygave above our standard annual commitment.

Pending passage of the budget, the standard level of annualcommitment will increase by $75. Over the years, we havemade significant cuts and are operating on a lean but fiscallyresponsible budget. With this adjustment, annual commit-ment will have increased a little more than 1% per annumover the past 5 years.

Annual commitment covers only a little more than half ofour operating costs. The remainder of the budget is fundedin a variety of ways including: distribution from the Endow-ment and Funds, special annual gifts, donations from mem-bers who pay above the regular level of annual commitmentand fundraising events.
