Whenever we play with our pets, it is important to help keep everyone safe by ensuring adults are supervising the interactions.

Feline funCardboard tubes such as toilet rolls can make great toys for cats. Just make sure you remove all of the toilet paper first.

stEP 1• Using scissors, snip around the edges

of the cardboard roll to create fringes as pictured.

• Use markers to decorate. NOTE: Be careful not to use glue or decorations that the cat may swallow.

stEP 1• Flatten a cardboard roll slightly

and cut into 3 or 4 pieces.

• Use a piece of string or wool to tie each cardboard loop in different spots along the string.

• Hang the toy from a door handle or somewhere the cat can reach.

TIP: You might decide to attach a bell to the bottom of your stringy creation.

NOTE: Watch your cat while they play with the toy. We don’t want the cat to swallow any sting or bells.
