13795-3 and the Association for the Advancement

of Medical Instrumentation standards (AAMI).

SureSafe products are manufactured under strict

quality control processes and comply with ISO

13485. All products are CE marked and guarantee

our products meet the essential requirements of the

Medical Device Directive.

Design and Comfort

SureSafe Surgical gowns are designed for

Australian requirements in partnership with

Australian clinicians for both patient and

practitioner. SureSafe guarantees protection and

comfort through a unique combination of material

softness, breathability, gown design and cut and

features such as sonic welded seams. SureSafe

Surgical Gowns are truly designed for a wide-

variety of surgical applications within Australian

hospitals.

Environmental Care

SureSafe gowns and draping materials are by-

products of the oil industry. No cellulose and wood

pulp are present in our products, which ensures no

trees are consumed in the manufacturing process.

The products do not present a significant risk to the

environment when incinerated after use and are

broken down to carbon dioxide and water.

SureSafe68® Breathable Viral Barrier (BVB) Surgical Gowns offer the highest level of protection with

breathable monolithic film covering the entire gown area.

BVB surgical gowns are made from BVB tri-laminate material, combining strength with softness, high

breathability and excellent barrier properties against real world viruses causing infectious diseases

such as HIV/AIDs (human immunodeficiency virus), SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and

Avian Influenza. The outer layer provides additional fluid repellence and strength, the inner layer

provides a soft touch to the wearer’s skin.

The layer between the inner and outer layers is a membrane which has a monolithic, non-porous

structure that provides an impervious barrier, thus blocking the passage of viruses and bacteria.

The structure of the film allows moisture vapour to pass through, allowing the wearer to remain

comfortable whilst providing the highest level of protection.

BVB gowns feature sonically-sealed seams (instead of stitched seams) to prevent strike through

where the sleeves are joined to the body of the gown.

SureSafe Drapes are made of the highest quality draping material

to comply with EN 13795-3 – the industry standard for surgical

draping material.

SureSafe Drape Features

SureSafe drapes consist of laminated

polypropylene and polyethylene layers to provide

absorbency across the entire fabric surface to

ensure a fully impervious barrier to prevent fluid

strike-through and protect against bacteria

penetration. SureSafe drapes are low-linting with

a non-skin surface, in addition to being puncture

and abrasion resistant and have a variety of strong

and safe fluid control features to soak up spills and

splatters yet provide excellent flexibility and

drapeability.

CliniCover can replace regular linen used in hospital. It has an impervious backing

which prevents blood and body fluids from coming into contact with the operating
