General information & application The Helpman HTC-N series is a wide range of heavy-duty air cooled ammonia condensers for refrigeration and air condi- tioning applications. Helpman HTC-N condensers are avail- able for both horizontal and vertical air direction. Refrigerants Ammonia, all H(C)FC Capacities* 20 up to 930 kW *Ammonia, 15 K TD, ambient temperatures up to 25 °C. Coil Coil manufactured from stainless steel tubes ø 13 mm and corrugated Alu-fins, tube pitch 50 x 50 mm triangle. Available with 1 or 2 separated coils. Casing Casing and framework of corrosion resistant pregalvanised sheet steel (sendzimir), epoxy coated light grey RAL 7035 on both sides. Mounting feet epoxy coated dark grey RAL 7016. All models are provided with easily removable header panels. Fan motors 1 to 12 Fans available in a range of different executions, diameters 762, 900 or 1000 mm. Enclosed design spray-tight fan motors, protection class IP-55 (076 range) or IP-54. All fan motors of HTC-N ranges 090, 091 and 100 are equipped with a thermal safety device in the windings, con- nected to separate terminals in the box. Motors are wired to one or more common terminal boxes. All fans have corrosion resistant fan blades and fan guards. Certifications All condenser models are “Eurovent Certify All” certified. The Alfa Laval quality system is in accordance with ISO 9001. All products are manufactured according to CE and PED rules. Test Design pressure 33 bar. Each heat exchanger is leak tested with dry air and finally supplied with a nitrogen pre-charge.
