Case study Proving capabilities for niche international searches with a top global Pharma High CV-to-interview ratio Achieving candidate and Client satisfaction Boehringer Ingelheim had a new vacancy for a Regulatory Affairs Manager, due to the growth of Vetmedica, their Animal Health unit, based in the company’s HQ in Ingelheim in Germany. This position required a successful candidate to be DVM with strong international experience at the central level in regulatory affairs with animal health vaccines. On this search, we worked with a Staffing Partner responsible for this business area at Boehringer Ingelheim in Germany. Within four weeks after we received the original job description, we managed to submit a strong shortlist of candidates with required experience from various European countries. Out of 3 CVs we sent, 2 candidates attracted the attention of Boehringer Ingelheim and the interviewing process went smoothly to telephone interviews after which both candidates were invited for face-to-face interviews in Germany. After the final interview with the selected candidate, she accepted the offer and signed a contract with the company. Boehringer Ingelheim was entirely satisfied, having hired a new Regulatory Affairs Manager with rare expertise in animal vaccines at an international level. The candidate was also excited about the prospect of moving to Germany and working for a worldwide known organization in Pharmaceutical industry.
