It happened around 5:55 a.m., in the 900 block of Lakeview Drive. A 2006 Toyota Camry, driven by Monette Duclair, 35, of Coral Springs, was traveling southbound on Lakeview Drive. She lost control as she approached a curve in the road, struck a concrete curb that borders the median, and then hit the tree, Sgt. Carla Mertes said. Duclair was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Officer Chris Swinson, of the Coral Springs Police Traffic Unit at 954-346-1749. Coral Springs police on Thursday were investigating afatal accident in which a car struck a tree.
It happened around 5:55 a.m., in the 900 block ofLakeview Drive.
A 2006 Toyota Camry, driven by Monette Duclair, 35, ofCoral Springs, was traveling southbound on LakeviewDrive. She lost control as she approached a curve in theroad, struck a concrete curb that borders the median, andthen hit the tree, Sgt. Carla Mertes said.
Duclair was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Investigators are urging anyone with information to contact Officer Chris Swinson, of the CoralSprings Police Traffic Unit at 954-346-1749.
