CAN YOU SPOT THESE BULBS IN THE PICTURE BELOW?
WEEK 2
Grab your Bible and read the following passage.
Read Acts 3:1-10
• Imagine you couldn't walk. What would you miss the most?
• How long was this man paralyzed? (“Lame” means paralyzed.) (verse 2)
__________________________________________________________________
• This man was asking for alms, which means money, but what did he get? (verses 7-8)
__________________________________________________________________
• In whose name did Peter heal this man? (verse 6)
__________________________________________________________________
• How long did it take for the man to get healed? (verse 7)
__________________________________________________________________
This was a true miracle! A man who once was paralyzed his entire life was now standing, walking, and leaping. God is all-powerful. Nothing
is impossible for God. He works miracles.

JOURNAL SPACE
“RISEUPANDWALK”
Here is a time to learn and worship together as a family. Everyone is learning about God through the book of Acts. Together with your family share some of the things you have learned.
READ Acts 3:11-16. You can have someone read. You can take turns reading.
Discuss
• Remember, right before Peter’s speech God used him to heal a man that was paralyzed.
• What does Peter call Jesus in verse 15? (“The Author of Life". Jesus is God. He is God the Son. He is the Creator of all things. He created us.)
• What did God do after Jesus died on the cross? (Verse 15. God raised Jesus from the dead.)
• How was this paralyzed man healed? (Read verse 16. By faith in Jesus. The man believed in Jesus and God healed him.)
• Suggestion: Act out the story of Peter healing the lame man, Acts 3:1-10.
PRAY — Praise God that He is all-powerful and nothing is impossible for Him. Pray for anyone you know that might need healing
right now. Pray for the world to be healed of the covid virus. * God doesn't promise to heal everyone all the time. But, we see in the Bible that we are to pray for those in need and believe that God can bring healing.
