Can you help? Expertise on Infection Control

The challenge
3Page
One of the major challenges for any hospital is
preventing the transmission of viruses andbacteria that lead to surgical site infections.
Infections can of course lead to complications
while putting unnecessary pressure on medical
resources.
For example, did you know that on average a
patient with a post-operative infection stays in
hospital an additional 8 days?
4Page
We therefore asked ourselves how we could make
a major impact here
and we quickly realized that technology we have
already developed could actually make the difference
But we need to know more…..

The solution
6Page
Medical gowns & drapes incorporating our
Arnitel® VT breathable membrane offer:
- maximum protection against
bacteria, viruses and body fluids- with maximum breathability
It’s a non-porous membrane that gives a
complete barrier combined with maximum
breathability.

We believe there is a major opportunity for next-generation medical clothing
And we’re very keen to learn more about infection control and the role that medical gowns & drapes can play in this
But we need to know more…..
