What is the most popular freshman meal plan membership option? Traditionally students have chosen The Classic (11 meals/week and $150 DD). To ensure students sign up for a membership that fits their lifestyle, our interactive Meal Plan Wizard at dining.baylor.edu was designed to assist in choosing the right plan for every student.

What is the difference between Dining Dollars and BearBucks? Dining Dollars strictly come with select Meal Plans and can be used at any dining location across campus. Additional Dining Dollars cannot be added through the semester. BearBucks can be used at all dining locations as well as additional campus services and off-campus locations. BearBucks are purchased through the cashiers office and can be added throughout the semester.

Why is it beneficial to have a meal plan membership? Guaranteed all-you-care-to-eat meals, options that support a healthy lifestyle, no need to waste time and gas leaving campus, locations that open early and stay open late, no mess or clean up…the benefits are endless.

Frequently Asked Questions

Page 8: Campus Services Freshmen Orientation 2012

Baylor Dining Services

Can unused meals be carried over to the next week? It depends on your plan. If you have The Block 225 plan you have 225 meals to use throughout the semester as you please. Meal plans that have a specific amount of meals per week must be used within one week and do not carry over.

Are the same foods served at each residential restaurant? No, all four of our residential locations have unique, alternating menu cycles. Students can view menus and corresponding nutritional information at dining.baylor.edu.

Can meal plan memberships be changed at a later date? Yes. We want you to have a meal plan that fits your lifestyle. During the first 10 class days of each semester you can change your meal plan. After the first 10 days you can change to a higher level plan at anytime and meal plan rates will be prorated accordingly.

Baylor Bookstore - FAQ’s

What do I need to bring with me when purchasing my textbooks? If you have not purchased your books you will need your class schedule with you to find the correct titles needed. If you purchased your books through our online service E-Follett you will need to bring the order pick-up confirmation and your ID to the online pick-up area.

What if I purchase books and go to class to find out that the books are not needed. What can I do? Our refund period is 7 days from the start of class. You must have your original receipt and the books must be in the same condition purchased. If the books are in a package they must be intact to receive a full refund.

What does the term buyback mean? Buyback is at the end of the term during finals week that books purchased can be sold back to the bookstore. You can receive up to 50% of the purchase price back for your books. This depends on needs of the store and if the book is being used for the next

term.
