Your journey starts now! Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Montevallo. We are excited to welcome you into the UM family. Student Orientation and Registration (S.O.A.R) is designed to assist you and your family as you transition into the University. S.O.A.R is your opportunity to meet with your academic advisor, register for classes, and learn important information about the University prior to classes beginning in the fall. Parents will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from the Office of Financial Aid, Housing & Residential Life and Student Support Services.
