CAMPAT Machine Tool, Inc. (CAMPAT) is located in Plano, Texas and has been in business for over 25 years,

serving Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Approximately 70% of the business is selling and

servicing Computerized Numeric Control (CNC) machines, primarily machining centers and turning centers. The

remaining 30% of the business is sales of machine accessories and machine parts. These products are highly

specialized items designed for the metal removal business. One additional product is the sale of computerized

CAD/CAM computer design systems used to aid customers in the design of their finished products. Some of the

industries that machine tools are manufactured for are: aircraft, computer, telecommunications, medical, oil service

and automotive.

CAMPAT is also the Exclusive U.S. Importer for one of the largest CNC Machine Tool manufacturer in Taiwan,

Leadwell CNC Machines Mfg. ( leadwellcnc.com & leadwell.com.tw ). With over 20 agents throughout the U.S.

and over 5000 machine installations.

CAMPAT also distributes for Kitamura Machinery Co., which is a high end CNC machine builder from Japan.

This combination allows CAMPAT to supply the most technologically advanced solutions in the industry.

History

Joe Tomalonis – President –35 years experience in the industry. Joe began his career as a machine service and applications engineer in 1980 and received extensive training in Japan and US factories. In 1985, He developed CAD/CAM software as a user-friendly interface for the cumbersome CNC machines of the day (this software is still being sold today). Additionally, he is currently working in conjunction with the engineers in Taiwan and Japan to make design improvement and increase compatible of machines for the US market.

Holly Tomalonis – Vice President ~ Controller – 30 years experience in general management,

accounting and computer systems software implementation. Has extensive training in financial

management, inventory control and system implementation. 1984-1988 functioned as controller,

general manager and system manager for over 7 retail stores with over 100 employees.

Gary Tipton – General Manager - 30 years experience in machine operations, service and computerized design software. Prior to CAMPAT Gary spent 13 years in every aspect of tooling manufacturing with large precision part manufacturer.

Craig Van Hamersveld – Sales Manager – 35 years experience in the industry including tooling and machine sales. Craig started in the machine tool and industrial supply industry in 1966. From then to now, he has worked in all facets of the business: tooling, service of machine tools, Director of Applications for a $65 million company, Chairman of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, CAD/CAM instructor and machine tool sales.

Leadwell was the first company in Taiwan to produce CNC Machining Centers and now is the leader in producing high quality CNC Machining Centers and Turning Centers. This type of Machine Tool is considered the “Mother” machine because it is required to produce all other type of machines. Typical parts produced are aircraft components, automotive parts, semiconductor process machines, printing press parts and many other manufactured component.

In 1992 Campat became the #1 distributor for Leadwell in the USA. This continued until 1998 when Campat became the #1 distributor world wide. With an average production of 1,500 units a year, Leadwell supplies 40 distributors in over 30 countries.

Campat was appointed as Exclusive USA Importer for Leadwell in 2000. This allowed us to purchase machines directly from the factory at greatly reduced cost. In this time of pricing pressure, this has allowed us to remain price completive and insure high quality standards.

Leadwell installation base in the USA is over 5000 units and with over 1,800 in Texas. With this base Leadwell is one of the Leading Taiwan builder in the USA. This history of success allows Campat to secure orders from new customers with the help of our large well maintained customer base. We have many customers with over 10 Leadwell machines.
