The conferenceThe ailure o politicians to come to an agreement at Copenhagen has meant that thestruggle against climate change takes on a new urgency. Here in the UK, the hugedemonstration be ore Christmas shows that millions o people want to see serious actionon climate change.

Our campaign or One Million Climate Jobs is going rom strength to strength. We havesold thousands o copies o our pamphlet and there is a real sense amongst campaignersar wider than the established trade union movement that this is an important campaign.

The third Campaign Against Climate Change trade union con erence takes placeagainst this backdrop. We will be bringing together trade unionists and environmentalcampaigners to discuss how best we can build a movement that wins both climate andsocial justice.

Come and discuss with Vestas workers how to win the fght or green jobs. Hear romcontributers to the Million Climate Jobs pamphlet about how action now could reduce

emissions and create jobs. Discuss with leading trade unionists rom across the countryhow we should organise in the coming months to save the planet.

The con erence takes place on Saturday 13 March at South Camden CommunitySchool, Central London. Organised in a teach-in ormat, there will be plenty o time ordelegates to join in the discussions.
