Submit your proposal for a half-day (4 hours) and full day (8 hours) Utility University course.

Education influences delegates’ ability to adapt to the constant changes that occur in the industry. To meet this need, DistribuTECH offers pre-conference Utility University courses. These courses are issue-concentrated, practical classes that feature the utility industry’s hottest topics taught by experts in their respective fields.

If you would like to instruct a course, submit your proposal at http://distributech.com and click the “Submit an Abstract or Proposal” link on the home page. If a proposal is selected, Instructor agrees to provide both an oral and written presentation. Along with the abstract, Instructor will provide detailed workbook materials for the delegates attending the half-day or full day course at DistribuTECH.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:When submitting your abstract, please choose a first and second choice category. Your abstract will be submitted to both subcommittees for review and consideration. Following their decision this summer, the DistribuTECH conference manager will notify you about your submission status.

PRESENTATION FORMATS AND GUIDELINES:

PAPER PRESENTATION _______________________________________________________________________________________• Presentation Length: 20-25 minutes, including Q&A time.• Complimentary Registration: One presenter per selected paper presentation is eligible for a complimentary “Full Delegate” registration to DistribuTECH, which includes

admission to the exhibit hall and conference, two delegate lunches, receptions on the exhibit hall floor and access to the online conference proceedings.

PANEL PRESENTATION _______________________________________________________________________________________• Presentation Length: 1.5 hour panel sessions provide a less structured environment and allow conference attendees to interact with the panel participants.• Each panelist is encouraged to deliver a short 5-10-minute presentation.• Participating panelists must be confirmed when presentation is submitted for consideration.• Complimentary Registration: Up to 4 panelists per selected panel discussion are eligible for a complimentary “Full Delegate” registration to DistribuTECH, which includes

admission to the exhibit hall and conference, two delegate lunches, exhibit hall floor reception and access to the conference proceedings.

SELECTION PROCESS ________________________________________________________________________________________The DistribuTECH Advisory Committee conducts a thorough review of all submissions and will select those strongest in technical content, market relevance and conciseness of the abstract. Abstracts deemed commercial in nature will not be selected. Preference is given to paper submissions and panels featuring utility personnel as presenters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:• Speakers agree to meet all deadlines provided by conference management including returning required forms and submitting

biography information and manuscripts/presentations for the conference proceedings. Panel presenters are not required to submit a file for the proceedings, but will be required to submit a biography.
