St. Joseph Catholic Church in Duncombe. Crews hoped to be able

to save them for reuse. The painted/stained glass window

at left was yet to be removed. The entire building was

demolished a few days later.

Wiggerman saidthe engine wasbuilt by Merle Er-ickson and that itran in Oleson Parkunder steam powerfrom the early1950’s to the firsthalf of the 1960’s.The club is the custodian of the engine, cars andtrack and havebeen putting it ondisplay for about10 years. Nolonger running onsteam, the engineis powered bycompressed air.

While a group of volunteers cleaned up their pen,the geese at the Oleson Park Zoo lined up alongthe shore in a formation that when combined with their reflection, ends up egg shaped, perhaps the ultimate goose egg.
