At its very core, architecture is art that is intended to interact with humans. They are both active participants

within architecture and modiers of architectural surrounding. It is essential for the architect when designing to consciously consider human form and

function. Architecture is highly cyclical. In its essential need to fulll some form or function the

rigidness of past architecture does not allow for the passage of time and the inevitable culture change this

can be seen in the many abandoned factories and warehouse left behind from America's industrial era. It

is our roll as architects to take these places and re-purpose them and give them a function that can

better stand the test of time.
