If you’re new to the hobby and thinking about buying your first telescope, or perhaps considering adding additional gear to your observing toolkit---this is the meeting to attend with your questions. We will discuss and demonstrate telescopes, binoculars, optical mounts, video observing, and new observing software in a member-presented “show & tell” format. This is a fun format that invites discussion, debate, questions, and answers. After the presentations there will be time to inspect equipment up close and ask any follow-up questions that would help you better understand a particular approach to observing. Just in time for holiday gift planning. Please join us for an in-depth look at what’s new, what’s in use, and what you might want to buy!
