Dear Resident WEST GATE FREEWAY ROAD DRILLING NIGHT WORKS: TUESDAY 24, WEDNESDAY 25 AND THURSDAY 26 NOVEMBER 2015 The CityLink Tulla Widening project involves adding lanes and other measures to improve the flow of traffic across the 24 kilometre section of freeway from the CityLink tunnels to Melbourne Airport. The project will also provide travel time savings per trip between Melbourne Airport and the West Gate Freeway during peak periods. The project will deliver a safer, more reliable freeway. Generally, an additional lane is being added in each direction, as well as upgrades at key interchanges including Bell Street, Mount Alexander Road/Flemington Road and on the Bolte Bridge to West Gate Freeway entry ramp. Leighton Contractors is the construction contractor for the Bulla Road to Power Street section of the project. Where we will be We will be working on the West Gate Freeway between Whiteman and Cecil Streets, either side of City Road and Clarke Street, as indicated in red on the map below.

Previously we notified you that works were scheduled to occur between 9pm to 5am from Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November 2015. The above mentioned works will now occur between 9pm to 5am Tuesday 24, Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November 2015.
