Dear Resident SERIVCE INSTALLATION WORKS IN YOUR AREA WEEK OF 4 JANUARY 2016 The CityLink Tulla Widening project involves adding lanes and other measures to improve the flow of traffic across the 24 kilometre section of freeway from the CityLink tunnels to Melbourne Airport. The project will also provide travel time savings per trip between Melbourne Airport and the West Gate Freeway during peak periods. The project will deliver a safer, more reliable freeway. Generally, an additional lane is being added in each direction, as well as upgrades at key interchanges including Bell Street, Mount Alexander Road/Flemington Road and on the Bolte Bridge to West Gate Freeway entry ramp. Leighton Contractors is the construction contractor for the Bulla Road to Power Street section of the project. Where we will be At the end of Evans Street, Moonee Ponds next to the creek, as indicated on the map below.

When works will occurWorks will occur between 9am and 5pm on one week day during the week of 4 January, 2016.

What we are doingWe will be installing a temporary pole to run a communications cable over Moonee Ponds Creek for the duration of our works in the area. We expect works in the area to be complete in late 2017.

This will involve: Installing traffic management to safely guide users of the shared path around our

works Using a large crane to lift and install the pole Installing the communications cable to run over the creek.

What to expect A small team of construction personnel at work Construction vehicles accessing the site down Evans Street Noise from the large crane when in use Traffic workers will direct pedestrians and cyclists using the shared path safely around

the works No vegetation will be removed as part of these works These works will not impact your property.

This work may be rescheduled in the event of unsuitable weather or other unavoidable circumstances.
