YEA Technical Weekend March 24-26, 2017

Register for YEA Technical Weekend by February 10 for an opportunity to come together for a weekend of energy

management courses, technical tours, and networking. Registration is $450 and includes hotel accommodations for Friday and Saturday, meals during the event, and all

necessary materials and resources. This event will be held March 24-26, 2017 in Atlanta, GA and features the

2017 ASHRAE Winter Conference

Attendees Can Plan Interactively for 2017 Winter Conference

Start planning your visit to the 2017 ASHRAE Winter Conference. The Conference Track Personal Scheduler is

an interactive online tool that enables users to create their own itineraries for the conference by selecting

programs to attend, skip, or read about later. Users also can search or browse events, create

schedules, check for scheduling conflicts, record notes, and sync the schedule data to a mobile device. The full Technical Program is available via the Interactive Tech

Program. With it, users can compile sessions by technical interest area. Users also can browse the Technical

Program by day, session type, track and presenter. For offline access, the Technical Program is available as a

downloadable PDF.

In the past Christmas events at the chapter were purely social events as seen here in December 1996:

Dinner and Dance to follow

In the early 2000’s these events became either dinner and a site tour (Moncton Airport Terminal or Majesta Diaper Plant for example) or dinner and a presentation (new LEED rating system or control valves & actuators).

We have tried to keep any speakers to a neutral non-technical topic so that the spouses are not bored to death.

We did bring in a Sommelier one year for wine tastings. They continue to remain for the most part a casual non-technical night and are typically a past presidents and spouses night.
