Mosaic Tile Workshop This is a fun no sew workshop that imitates the ancient art of mosaics, inspired by Cheryl Lynch’s trip to Israel. Learn how to create a mosaic picture from small pre-cut pieces of lots of col-ored fabric, using a technique that Cheryl has developed to sim-plify the process. Pick one of the available patterns, in class, that will finish to measure 9"x 12", and then can be bordered to your preference. Bring tweezers and a sharp small scissors to use with a provided kit . Migrating Geese Workshop Learn a great technique for making pieced border strips, modern strip quilt, etc. Michelle Hiatt will be showing us how to construct a great looking pieced strip that can be used for borders or rows. This difficult looking de-sign is actually made from a technique developed more than 20+ years ago by Georgia Bonesteel, and made simple with Deb Tucker’s fabulous tech-nique. It is constructed from squares and uses precision machine piecework. In class you'll be working on making a sample row or two to become familiar with the process and then see a number of samples for future project plan-ning. Hints and tips to help improve the required precision piecing tech-niques will be addressed and shared as well as steps for how to adapt the border to numerous other size options. Bernina Block Party! Bernina has introduced its Block Party quilt designed by Nina McVeigh using gor-geous and fun Alison Glass fabrics. This is a 12 month pick up BOM and here's how it works… On the first Monday of each month Bernina will post the instruc-tions for that month and focus on a different quilting technique. Q84 Lone Star Workshop Sarah Bond The Lone Star is one of the visually simplest and yet most stunning of traditional quilt patterns. Join us as we open one of our classrooms up to anyone who wants to come in and sew or quilt or whatever. You'll have a place to spread out and work to your heart's content - away from the phone and other distractions of home. The coffee's always on so bring your projects ... a friend or two and lunch. We'll provide the space and any number of folks to offer an opinion or advice on your current project! And...we might just throw in some informal tips, techniques or sneak peeks at upcoming cool stuff. "Sew," come kick back and spend a relaxing day (or part thereof!) and stitch away! INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE CLASSES Guide classes are FREE classes which we offer to familiarize you with all the different facets of your machine or software, and we offer FREE instructional guide classes on all of the machines and software that we sell. Pick up a schedule at the shop, or see the schedule on our website at http://www.byrnesewing.com/guide.html. You must have taken your guide classes or have a good working knowledge of your machine before you can sign up for regular classes! Bought your machine elsewhere? Classes are available for a fee! PRIVATE CLASSES Private classes are available for most machines and software. Call for details! REGISTER TODAY

Please sign up for classes at least 2 weeks in advance. Registration can be done by phone, in person, or by mail. CLASS REGISTRATION It is necessary to pre-register for ALL classes. Call us to be put on the waiting list...or give us your credit card number to re-serve your spot. Payment must be made in full to assure your place in class. We need this commitment from you in order for our classes to run as smoothly as possible and so that our teachers can properly prepare for class. BE SURE AND ASK FOR YOUR SUPPLY LIST! In many cases it is necessary to do things ahead to be properly prepared for class, so be sure and check your supply list ahead of time!

REFUND POLICY We must make our commitment to teachers one week prior to the start of their class. Therefore, refunds are available when your cancellation is made at least ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS. Please do not ask us for any exceptions. In the event that a class must be cancelled, individuals will be contacted and given a full refund.
