GEITONAS SCHOOLGEITONAS School is situated in Vari, a southern suburb of Athens, in an 80,000 m2 campus, 10’ away from the Athens International Airport and the beaches of the southern suburbs of Athens and 30’ away from the center of the city.It provides classrooms featuring excellent technical infrastructure and modern technological applications, including smart boards, an amphitheater, a theatre, physics, chemistry and biology laboratories, computer laboratories, a library, an infirmary, a restaurant, a ballet room, a football field, indoor basketball and volleyball courts, 2 indoor swimming pools, many outdoor courts and guard posts at all entrances to ensure children’s safety.

The school’s teachers are fluent in many languages and actively contribute to scientific developments in the field of education with original research work and peer reviewed papers. They also actively contribute to the diffusion of new knowledge, by participating in local and international scientific conferences as well as by organizing conferences with the participation of distinguished Greek and foreign professors and researchers. An Education Research and Development Secretariat operates in the School to systematically study modern trends in education, prepare and implement new programmes and innovative actions and support its teachers.
GEITONAS school’s educational programmes are aimed at providing students with general cultural education (mental, intellectual, moral aesthetic) and at equipping students with functional skills such as foreign languages and information technology skills. All students are encouraged to participate in clubs and societies such as the choir, the orchestra, the drama club, social action groups, the Forensics club and the Model United Nations Club. Students
participate in national and international Forensics and debate competitions, as well as Model United Nations conferences.
The staff is highly experienced in running residential summer camps in the school since it has been running a variety of programmes on campus every summer since 1996.

Who can Participate?Children aged 8 - 13 who are enrolled in European Coerver® Academies.Children aged 8 - 13 who are enrolled in Greek Coerver® Academies.*
Children aged 8 - 13 who are enrolled in Football Academies and will be chosen by Coerver® Coaching GreeceStudents at Geitonas School aged 8 - 13
• Chaperones: Each team of 16 students must be accompanied by a coach.• Food and Accommodation: Coaches and students will be having their meals at the dining hall of Geitonas Scholl.
Students will be accommodated in classrooms which will be refurbished to meet the needs of the Program. Each classroom will have 8 beds. Coaches will be staying in the same room as their students.
• Transfers: Coaches and students will be transferred by school bus.
StudentsParticipation cost for each student is:
• 460 EUR for one week (6 nights) • 970 EUR for two weeks (13 nights)
CoachesParticipation for one coach per 16 students is free of charge. The cost for each additional coach is 300 EUR for one week
(6 nights) or 630 EUR for two weeks (13 nights)
Cost
Participation Cost Includes:accommodation, three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner), transfer to and from the Programme’s activities, insurance

*The cost for students who are enrolled in Greek Coerver Academies and only wish to attend practice sessions is 60 EUR (for 6 days) or 130 EUR (for 13 days). Their coaches’ participation is free of charge.
The Acropolis Museum tour will be given by the Museum’s Guides and is not included in the participation cost.
The Camp’s official language is English.
