After a thorough contemporary dance warm-up we will learn different choreographic techniques. The goal of theclass is to explore self-expression, challenge your own personal movement style and to create dances both in soloand group forms.

The teacher places a strong emphasis on working together. Developing teamwork and collaborative skills helpssupport students as they make transitions in the many facets of their lives. This transfers to academics, where theirleadership and teamwork skills are also put to use and challenged more, while providing an open, trusting, and safeenvironment to connect with peers creatively.

Confidence grows while technique is developed through guided practice, energetic phrase work, and improvisation.Critical thinking skills are challenged through student group choreography, thoughtfully facilitated discussions, andthrough exercises intended to expand the dancers’ abilities to perceive, evaluate, and interpret movement.

This class is open to dancers of any experience level. The year will culminate with a performance dedicated to theyear’s choreographic works. In connection with the performance the student must count on extra rehearsal time.

Le cours de baby Dance est une introduction à la danse pour les enfants de 5 et 6 ans. Il n’y a pas un style utilisé enparticulier, le professeur va utiliser différents mouvements et techniques telles que le ballet, le jazz, le contemporain,le hip hop…. Through Little Lions we are happy to offer cricket for girls and boys. Following on from Englands World Cupsuccess, we are happy to offer cricket to those who have some, none and plenty of experience! Basic Freediving

Freediving is a form of underwater activity that relies on breath holding rather than the use of breathing equipmentsuch as scuba gear. Freediving facilitates understanding various aspects of human physiology, developing selfdiscipline and team work, realising safety measures as well as environmental awareness while having fun and beingactively immersed in water. With this after school activity we aim at providing the training and knowledge requiredto safely freedive with a buddy in pool/confined water environments to a depth of five meters. The dry sessions willfocus on the basics of freediving, e.g., dry breath holding, diving safety, physiology of diving. During pool sessions,we will practice static breath holding as well as the discipline of dynamic freediving and buddy system.

About myselfI received my bachelor degree in electronics engineering before having received my PhD in mathematics. I had theprivilege of working as a research mathematician at distinguished institutions in a number of countries. Currently, Iam working as a data scientist at the Ministry of Education in Luxembourg. I started freediving due to my older son’sdeep interested in marine life. We pursued freediving together. While both of my sons becoming accomplisheddivers, they inspire me to teach and pursue instructorship in freediving: I am currently SSI (Scuba SchoolsInternational) certified freediving instructor.

Check out a great way for kids to get fit and improve athleticism! In this course students will be introduced to thePilates mat-work exercises which focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance, stamina and overall bodystrength. The exercises are presented at multiple levels which allows students to choose to work at a beginning,intermediate, or advanced pace. With Pilates you can expect an increase in mobility, coordination, concentration,posture and body awareness, as well as a decrease in back pain or other general pains. It is also ideal for alleviatingback and postural problems or preventing future ones. Students learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinalalignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Various props (e.g. flex bands, foam rollers, rings) areincorporated to enhance and intensify the workout.
