Berthoud Wrestling Club will be hosting its 2nd annual Shreddathon Community Fundraiser Saturday, March 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with help from Berthoud’s own Apex Shredding. We will be set up in the parking lot across from Subway on Third Street to offer a convenient drive-through for anyone able to help support this event. We will be taking donations with a suggested amount of $5/box. The Larimer County 4-H Clubs will hold their annual Carnival on Saturday, March 22. The event will be held in the First National Bank Building at the Larimer County Fairgrounds. Ticket cost is $1 each and they can be purchased from any Larimer Coun- ty 4-H member. During the carnival they may be exchanged for five booth tickets and will also be an entry for the door prizes and grand prizes being given away. We are excited about offering the Master Food Safety Advisor program for people who have an inter- est in food safety and food science or love to cook or preserve food. The award honors an individual or group who has contributed in an extraordinary way to public health in Larimer County or has made an out- standing contribution to public health in Larimer County over time. The Jabaily award was created by the Larimer County Board of Health in honor and in memory of Dr. Joseph Jabaily, a Love-land neurologist, community activist, volunteer and member of many boards in the county who died tragically after an accident in a charity bicycle race in summer of 2004.

The award honors an individual or group who has contributed in an extraordinary way to public health in Larimer County or has made an out-standing contribution to public health in Larimer County over time. Nominations must be submitted in writing, either online or on a PDF file from the award website at http://www.larimer.org/boards/public_health_hero.cfm. Nom-inations are due by 5 p.m., Monday, March 31.

This is an open, informal environment for all AP Chemistry and Chemistry II students. This is a volunteer service provided by a chemist with 20+ years professional experience.
