Co-owners of the business conveniently located at 28470 La. 43 are Dr. Ron McMor- ris and Dr. Ashley Blanche- Skidmore. Dr. Blanche-Skidmore is the primary practitioner at the Albany location, while McMorris continues to treat patients at the clinic’s original location in Walker, which opened in May 2010 next to the Waffle House near I-12. “We offer a variety of services that ensure our pa- tients are receiving the best quality treatment at both of our state-of-the-art clinics,” Dr. McMorris said. These services include chiropractic care, manual therapies, soft tissue mobili- zation, spine and extremity rehabilitation and sports chiropractic. Elite Chiropractic was founded by McMorris in his home community after he decided to return from Houston, where he was liv- ing. He earned his degree as a Doctor of Chiroprac- tic from Texas College of Chiropractic. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Southeastern Louisiana University. Dr. Blance-Skidmore grad- uated from Parker College of Chiropractic, earning a Doc- tor of Chiropractic degree. She holds an undergraduate degree in kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She is a certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and is also certified in Graston and Active Release Technique, which are soft tissue mobi- lization techniques. She has pursued additional training in spine rehabilitation and extremity adjusting. The business is owned by Randy and Tina Stone of Green- well Springs and managed by Janice Cook. The owners de- cided to open a store in Denham Springs based on market analysis and 15 years experience in the rental business for single family homes, apartments and mo- bile homes. The store is open Monday through Fri- day from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. | INDIANAPOLIS — Greg Roache, President of Gainey’s Concrete Products Inc. in Holden, was elected to serve a three- year term on the Board of Directors of the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA). Roache began his term on October 12 at NPCA’s 48th Annual Convention in Hot Springs, Va. Roache has spent more than three decades in the precast concrete industry, getting his start as the quality control manager for a industry sup- plier. He has been with Gainey’s for 10 years. Gainey’s manufactures a full line of underground civil engineer- ing products and designs and installs turnkey sewer treatment plants. “Greg has been a tremendous asset to NPCA over the years,” said NPCA President Ty Gable. “The enthusiasm and knowledge he brings to the table will be a welcomed addition to our Board of Directors.” Roache has played an active role within NPCA over the years, chairing several product committees and serving on the task forces for special initiatives.
