Quintas biomass hot air dryers utilise the gasification technology to generate heat and hot air in a very efficient and environmentally friendly manner for the

purpose of drying of Agricultural produce.

Using the Toplit Updraft (TLUD) gasifier as heat source, Quintas is able to utilize biomass renewable energy sources from Agro and Forest residues to generate heat. The flue gases from the gasifiers are led and controlled into hot air generator (flue gas / air heat exchanger) from where heat energy is transferred to the incoming fresh air. The spatial separation of the flue gases and the fresh air in the heat exchanger allows an indirect heating process, thereby producing pollution-free hot air to be delivered into the drying chamber, producing contamination free hot air to dry grains, seeds, fruits, chips, mash and other agricultural produce.
