John Akangah (ICIOB)

Director/Engineer

John Akangah (34) is the Director/Engineer for BDC Ltd. He started the Company in 2006

and has been managing it since then.

He graduated from the Accra Polytechnic in 1999 with HND in Building Technology. He is

also an incorporated member of Chartered Institute of Builders (CIOB UK) since 2006 after

being a student member since 1999.

He is fluent in English.

Before founding BDC, John has worked with several building Companies in various

capacities.

He is currently studying to become a Corporate Member of the CIOB (UK)

Catherine Ayaba Norgah-Nornorkuadzi

Accounts Manager

Catherine A. Akangah (29) has been working with the Company on a part-time basis since

2008. She helped set up the finance structure of the Company. She joined full time in 2010.

She graduated from the University of Cape Coast in 2006 with Honours in Social Sciences.

She worked with a Private Company specialised in the Print finish business for 4yrs as

Administrative and Accounts Manager.

Rosaline Akangah

Administrative/HR Manager

Rosaline Akangah (26) joined the Company in 2010 as an Administrative/HR Manager and

has helped to restructure the Company’s human resource portfolio. She also designed and

built a strong brand for the Company.

She graduated from the Takoradi Polytechnic in 2008 with HND in Graphics and currently

studying for a degree in BSC Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon.

She has been working in the media as an Editor for 2yrs. She is fluent in English.

Regina Addo

Purchasing Officer

Regina Addo (28) joined the Company in 2009 as the first employee besides the Director.

She tripled as an Administrator, Secretary and Personal Assistant. She completed her

Secondary education in 2003, after which is took computer literacy classes. She worked in

the hospitality industry for 3yrs and also was involved in an intensive research work.

She is fluent in English.

Winfred Nkansah Borbor

Site Supervisor

Winfred Nkansah Borbor (35) joined the Company in 2011 as a Site Engineer/Supervisor. He

graduated from the Accra Polytechnic with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building

Technology. He has worked in varying capacities for a considerable number of years

exposing him to a rich experience in engineering and site management.

He is fluent in English.

Site Supervisor

Philip Ansah (25) joined the Company in 2010 as an Intern. He graduated from the Kumasi

Polytechnic with a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Civil Engineering. During his national

service, he worked with the Building and Project Inspectorate Unit of the Works Department

in Sekyere, Afram Plains District Assembly (Kumawu). This gave him a first-hand experience

with government projects and what Government expects from its Contractors. He was

assigned to supervise one of our major sites when the Forman was re-assigned. He since has

been doing a great job. He is fluent in English.
