Club Admin’s Msg
As most of you have seen, we are well
underway, in our field rehab process.
What you may not have noticed is that
our new paint machines have arrived!
No more can shaking, or uneven lines.
The new machines are already making
our fields look better with thicker, more
evenly sprayed lines, that are much
more defined, than what we have seen
with the old process. These machines,
should not only save time, and make
our fields look better, but it should help
reduce the paint expense, over time as
well. Next time you are at the fields,
take a look at the lines. You will notice
we also switched from orange to red.
This “lines up” with our club colors, pun
intended, but also the red is much
brighter and easier to see, for players,
refs, and fans.

Greetings Soccer Family,
With the Senior season in full swing, is time for the Junior teams to step in the field! Tampa Dynamo has provid-ed our kids with all they need to have a successful season. The Junior camp was extremely beneficial to our players as it gave them the mobility, flexibility and strength to keep up with the demands of the game. We had a great attendance and the kids really enjoyed being part of that. Much appreciation to our Speed and Agility trainer, Juan Serna, and all the coaches that helped us have a great camp! I also would like to remind our parents to hold the Dynamo standards to the highest. As we, parents and coaches, respect officials and opponents so will our kids. Let's lead by example and help our kids have a great sea-
son! Thanks all and see you at the fields!!

Dynamo families,
We are very happy to have started the senior teams season and are anxious to start the junior season. We want to remind all the competitive players that Speed and Agility is offered every Monday and Wednesday. We look forward to seeing our recreational teams take shape and start their fall season. This is one of the busiest times of the year for our club, so please communicate to us if we can help with any-
thing.

I think I speak for everyone in the club when I say thank God that Fall is finally here! It finally feels great out-side, especially in the morning and I know we’re all thankful for that. We had a successful AGM at the begin-ning of October, and on behalf of the BOD and the entire club, I’d like to welcome the following new board members: VP of Competitive – Jason Bever VP of Facilities – Mark De Villers Secretary – Julianne Unger Also, Mark Longenecker was re-elected to the position of VP, recall that Mark stepped in to fill the vacant VP role at the end of last year. I’d also like to extend a personal thank you to the two board members who have just completed their terms: Marcel and G. Both of these gentlemen have served the club with selflessness and integrity for many years. In addition, Marcel will be staying on as web admin, and I know you’ll join me in saying that the web site has never looked better. As a club, we are indebted to both Marcel and G for their dedication over many years. Please take a minute to thank each of these folks when you see them on the fields. Their dedication to all of our children is the backbone of the club. The Fall Rec season is underway. I was fortunate to catch a few minutes of a U-8 game last weekend. It always reminds me of how most of us got involved in soccer and I’m always pleased to be able to watch the young ones play. Speaking of Rec, I wanted to take a minute to re-state the club’s position on Rec, because I think it’s im-portant for all of us to be committed to the mission. Here it is… Recreational soccer is important. It is every bit as important as Competitive soccer and we will endeavor to lift the status of the Rec program. We will remove the ‘wall’ that has been built up over the years between Rec and Competitive soccer. To facilitate this, going forward, Dimas & Cheyne will be responsible for both Rec and Competitive soccer. The ‘wall’ was not built overnight, and I don’t expect it to be removed overnight, but with a little time and concentrated effort, we will elevate the Rec program to have the same level of im-portance as our Competitive program. I don’t mean to imply that the Rec program will have the same level of skill as the Competitive program, just that we will treat both programs with the respect each deserves. Of course I can’t leave without talking about the fields. We’ve made a few strides forward since last month. The County finally applied Top Choice to the north fields and Turf Keepers continues to spray and fertilize. We’re starting to see some improvement on fields 1 and 2. Fields 3 & 5 are still disasters, but we’ve made headway there as well. Mark met with Hillsborough County Commissioner Stacey White last week and gave him a tour of Valrico. To put it mildly, on behalf of the County, he was embarrassed and appalled and prom-ised to get something happening. Unfortunately, maybe having the fields be as bad as they can be is what it takes to make some change, but change is coming. Thank you for your continued patience as we work to get us to a better place. Mike
