DEAR PARTNER!Over the past two years, Budapest Airport was named the best airport in the region both times. TheSkytrax Award for best airport in Eastern Europe is one of the most prestigious professional accoladesthat we could achieve in international aviation. It is also important feedback for us and all airport part-

ners and service providers, that last years success was not a one-off. We have proven that we are notonly able to maintain our excellent service quality and performance, but also to improve it further. Wefirmly believe that our ever broader range of services and our services contribute to the travel experi-ence. Winning this award for the second time strengthens our belief that we are on the right track, andthat our passengers appreciate our innovative approach. For us, this is the most important benchmark.

Budapest Airport offers direct aerial connections to more than 80 destinations in over 30 countries.The number of destinations increased further in 2014 as new airlines entered the market in Budapest,whereby the choice of flights available to London, Paris, Istanbul, Barcelona, Dubai and Tel Aviv, amongst

other destinations, has been significantly expanded. And that is by no means the end of the frequencyincreases and new flights; the 2015 summer schedule features a large number of new destinations,including the reappearance of long haul and transatlantic flights, as Toronto, Montreal and Beijing haveonce again become accessible with direct services from Budapest.

In addition to our route development efforts, we would like to highlight a few large capital expenditureprojects; over the past two years, we renovated both runways at a cost of approximately 2 million EUR,and performed comprehensive maintenance works on the related ground lighting infrastructure. TheGeneral Aviation Terminal has been renovated, and the lounge services available at Terminal 2 have

been expanded. This year we are building a new aircraft maintenance hangar next to the technicalapron, and will commence the replacement of the instrument landing system (ILS).

Thus it is apparent that not only our route network, but our airport infrastructure and services have alsobeen expanded and developed, providing a good basis for compiling this publication. PARKINGOur car parks are open non-stop all year round.There are more than 2600 parking spaces avail-able at Terminal 2, including Premium Parking,Terminal Parking, Holiday Plus Parking, HolidayParking, Business Parking and Bus Parking.All of our car parks are guarded and insured.

Online parkingBudapest Airport has introduced an online park-ing system for all suitable car parks at the airporton www.bud.hu. With online parking, it is possibleto book and pay for parking using a computer orsmartphone, at least 12 hours prior to the plannedtime of departure.

Drivers need to print the confirmation with the

barcode in the right corner. All drivers then haveto do when they arrive at the car park is wait forlicence plate recognition system to issue a ticket,and they are free to enter.

As an additional service hand car wash and the allinclusive service of SkyCourt Lounge can also bebooked together with parking.

Our car parks can be booked with significant dis-

counts compared to the gate prices through theonline booking system.

Business opportunity for travel agencies - selling

parking spaces through the online booking sys-tem on a comission basis: agencies may medi-ate parking services available at the Airport to itspassengers. Parking services may be booked onbehalf of the passengers and sold together withthe agencys travel package or as a standaloneproduct. The agency may book the parking ser-vice in the online system of BUD after logging in

with the its own user name and password.

Credit card payment and VAT invoices

Customers can pay for parking by credit card at allpay stations in any of the car parks, in addition tothe customer service office.

VAT invoices may be requested within 15 days ofparking, on the basis of the receipt from the pay

machine. An electronic invoice may be requestedby mail, providing an email address (mailing ad-dress: Budapest Airport Zrt., 1185 Budapest, BUDInternational Airport), and at the customer serviceoffice in Terminal Parking, if indicated prior to pay-ment.

Ftaxis several hundred cars, trained and experienced colleaguesensure a safe basis to satisfy passengers needs at a high standard. Taxi drivers speaking at least oneforeign language are in service with large, category A cars younger than five years. All cars acceptcredit cards.

Reservations can be made in person at the Ftaxi booths located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. Atthe taxi rank in front of the stands, taxis are parking continuously waiting for passengers.

From 1 September 2013, a new taxi decree was introduced in Hungary, regulating the price of tax-is at a fixed tariff of 280 HUF/km (0.95 EUR/km), in addition to the one-off base fee of 450 HUF(1.50 EUR) and 70 HUF/minute (0,23 EUR/minute) waiting fee. A ride to the city center should typicallycost around 6500 HUF (22 EUR), depending on traffic conditions.

Self check-in:

The passengers of some airlines are able to check in on their own at Terminals 2A and 2B, using thetouch screens provided.

Passengers can use 22 self check-in machines at Terminal 2. There are 16 self check-in machines avail-able at Terminal 2A and 4-6 at Terminal 2B. Since these machines make check-in significantly faster,easier and more efficient, they have become very popular. Therefore there is ever-increasing demandfor them from passengers, who are thus able to select their seats themselves, as well as from airlines.

Currently the passengers of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Fin-nair, Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines,Egyptair and El Al Israel Airlines can use the CUSS kiosks, whilst talks are currently ongoing about theuse of CUSS with several other airlines.

Whilst waiting for screening, please help us ensure that you can pass through the security pro-cess as smoothly as possible. Passengers are requested to empty all pockets, take off any upperbody over garments (jacket, blazer, coat, waistcoat, etc.) and place their belongings and garmentsin the plastic trays. Belts and shoes may also have to be taken off upon request (in the latter case,foot sacks are available, if required). All laptop computers must be removed from your hand bag-

The aim of this procedure is to prevent any sharpitems, weapons, liquids or other materials compromising aviation safety/security from being takenon board aircraft.

PASSPORT CONTROLIf you are traveling to a country outside of theSchengen zone, you will need to have your pass-port or travel document inspected after check-in,for which you should have not only your officialdocument, but also your boarding pass available,since this will also be inspected.

E-PASSPORT AND E-KIOSKUsing EU funding, the Police has established anautomatic system at Budapest Airport, consistingof two levels. First, biometric passports must beregistered at any of the four e-kiosks, then, oncethe document has been successfully read, pas-sengers can pass through an e-gate, followingfingerprint identification. The process is fast anduser-friendly. An animation is available to helppassengers understand what to do.

TRANSIT AREAPassengers can enter the airside with a valid board-ing pass, after undergoing security screening.

Both terminals offer numerous opportunities forshopping, to make phone calls and to exchange

money.

BOARDINGBoarding gates have to be checked every time onthe FIDS screens where passengers can also seewhen (in how many minutes) the gate number willbe displayed for a given flight. In the case of cer-tain airlines the gate number and boarding timeare already displayed on the boarding pass.

THE USE of THE BASIC BoARDING GATES (BBG)In Terminal 2 of Budapest Airport, walk-on/walk-off boarding and disembarkation was introduced in

2012. For your convenience, it is recommended to leave for the Basic Boarding Gates from the terminalbuilding only when the call to do so is displayed on the passenger info screens. Sufficient time is availa-ble for you to get to the boarding gate, but you should make sure you do arrive there before the time ofclosing of the gate indicated on your boarding pass. As the start of boarding approaches, please checkthe passenger info screens as your gate number may be modified in the last moment.

Once through the electronic gates, a properly signed walkway leads passengers to the BBG. Once inside,

boarding passes will be checked by the airline representative. It is expected that the maximum time to be spent

in the BBG is 30 minutes.

ARRIVING PASSENGERS AT DEPARTURE LEVELDepending on traffic conditions, Budapest Airport is also able to serve arriving Schengen flights on thedeparture level, if they are handled on air jetties. This procedure cannot be used in the case of all flights,it is dependent on a number of things whether passengers can be allowed into the departure transitarea. If so, then arriving passengers can shop and dine in the departure transit area, including the dutyfree stores (with the exception of tobacco products and alcoholic drinks). Arriving passengers can thenproceed from the departure level, following the exit signs, via a staircase, to the arrivals level, where

they reclaim their baggage and leave the terminal.

Tips for the use of the basic boarding gates (BBG)

The first stop on the way to the BBG is the sluice gates installed inside the building, which passengersmay pass through 50 minutes prior to the departure of their flight at the earliest. Passage through thesluice gates is possible by having the bar code found on the boarding pass scanned, which passengersperform themselves. Please note that the sluice gate is not the boarding gate.

The sluice gates are locked 15 minutes prior to departure time. Passengers who arrive at the sluice

gates after this time will be denied boarding. Based on the policy of the airline in question, passengers must report to the boarding gate on the

apron 30 minutes prior to departure at the latest.

Please note that there are no bathrooms in the BBG on the Terminal 2B (non-Schengen) side andthere is limited access to bathrooms on the Terminal 2A (Schengen) side. Please take this into ac-count before leaving the terminal building via the sluice gates.

Smoking is strictly prohibited along the entire route to the BBG and from the aircraft to the building,as well as anywhere on the airside, and especially around aircraft.

Passengers who have purchased PRIORITY boarding can wait in a separate area within the BBGhalls, and will be the first to proceed to the aircraft when boarding begins.

If passengers arrive late, staff from the airlines ground handling partner will escort them back to theterminal building, where, after being escorted out of the transit area, they can rebook their flights andretrieve their hold baggage checked in earlier.

Please note that passengers who have VISACHECK printed onto their boarding pass or ticketprinted out at home must report to the check-in counter prior to boarding for a document check,irrespective of whether they have any hold baggage or not.

foR SmoKING pASSENGERS: Smoking is prohibited in the Terminal with the exceptionof designated smoking areas. Designated smoking areas are located at the main entrances ata distance of more than 5 meters from the doors, on the visitor terrace on the mezzanine ofTerminal 2A, and on the smoking terrace on the mezzanine level in the SkyCourt. Smoking areasare clearly indicated by the relevant signs all areas.

The General Aviation Terminal (GAT) primarily serves passengers traveling with their own or with leasedprivate or business jets, as well as the passengers of special flights (e.g. athletes, special delegations,etc.).

The GAT is located 20 minutes from the center of Budapest, next to Budapest Airport Terminal 1. Dedi-cated parking spaces are available in front of the building for GAT passengers.
