Fill the pool to normal operation level. Turn all of you water features off. Fill the bucket with pool water and put a brick in it to help weigh it down. Place the bucket on the 2nd step going into the pool. Mark the water level in the bucket and in the pool. (In the pool use tape on the skimmer) Run the system for 24 hours. (All equipment, pump, motor, filter) Do not swim or backwash during the test. Measure the amount of water loss in the pool and the bucket. Fill the pool to normal operation level.
