PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

Hello Brooweena Community,

Assessment tasks are completed. With all of the students’

hard work and top effort, the assessment tasks for English

are fantastic. This commitment meant that the students

reached the top of the jelly bean jar for their rewards day.

Yesterday we enjoyed beautiful woodfired pizzas from our

pizza oven.

Today we celebrated the end of the term with a Friday Fun Day. There was

a great surprise for the students… a jumping castle! The students have worked

very hard this term and the fun day was a fantastic way for them to celebrate

and enjoy themselves. Thank you to the P & C for paying for the fun day.

We are currently taking enrolments for eKindy and Prep for 2021.

Children born between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017 are elgible

for eKindy in 2021

Children born between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016 are eligible

for Prep in 2021

Thank you to all of the staff for a tremendous term 3. It really felt like term ,

with all of the disruption this year. Our school is very fortunate to have such

wonderful staff to nurture our students’ learning journey.

I hope that everybody has an enjoyable break with the family over the next

fortnight. We are looking forward to an exciting term 4.

What’s coming up?

Today (Friday 18 September) is the last day of term 3. The

children will be enjoying games, a special tuckshop of

sandwiches, fruit kebabs and ice cream and playing on a

jumping castle.

The next P&C meeting will be on Monday 12 October at 4 pm

at the school. All are welcome.

BUSHKids Brooweena eKindy

eKindy has available spaces for 2020.

eKindy is on each Tuesday at Brooweena State School, in the Library, from

9:00am – 2:00pm.

Children turning turn 4 years old on or before 30 June 2020 are eligible.

The eKindy is facilitated by a qualified kindergarten facilitator.

Enrolments are open for 2021.

Eligible children are those born between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.
