The most popular formal event tent is the

because of its beautiful shape and reasonable

cost. High peak tents provide a visually striking sculptured look

excellent for formal events. The top, rather than peaking along a

ridge, comes to points at multiple pole locations.

High peak pole tents are tension tents, requiring center poles and sidepoles anchored and stretched

by ratchets and webbing attached to stakes around the perimeter.

High peak pole tents are available from 30-ft to 100-ft wide and able to seat 4,000 or more attendees.

Pricing is $0.39-$0.47 per square foot of ground coverage for 8-ft side height tents or $0.43-$0.50 per

SF for 10-ft side height tents.

newest formal style. This is a flat ridge

frame tent with a clear vinyl top. It is

free-span, having no internal supports.

The BIG difference is the special transparent polymer used to make the top. This

clear vinyl is layered with a network of polymer mesh netting to strengthen the top

and all heat welded together. Overlapping seems create window frames to the sky.

Cleartop tents can be anchored using stakes or water and concrete weights that that do not damage paved surfaces. Clear top tents have a flat

top "ridge" line and slope down to the sidepoles on the ends. Pricing is 0.48-$0.53 (8-ft side) or $0.52-$0.58 (10-ft side).

This beautiful formal tent combines the best features of high-peak, clear-top and

frame in a unique 800 SF freespan cleartop center for dancing and entertaining

with 2-10 outflanking 400 SF high peak freespan frame tents for 80-400 guests. Can

be placed on grass or pavement and anchored with stakes or weights. The center

clear-top is typically for dancing, entertainment, food service and VIP’s. Pricing is

F L A T R I D G E F R A M E T E N T

A flat ridge frame tent is a self-supporting tent using metal

cross-beams to hold the top in place. It can be anchored

using stakes or more commonly by water or concrete

weights that do not damage paved surfaces. It has a flat

top "ridge" line and ends slope down to the sidepoles.

Frame tents have no center poles and provide the most

usable space under the tent. Ranging from 20-ft to 55-ft

wide, frame tents have a traditional look with clean lines.

Pricing is $0.40-$0.45 per square foot of ground coverage

for 8-ft side height tents or $0.44-$0.49 per SF for 10-ft

side height tents. 250-lb to 1-ton water weights and 100-lb

concrete weights replace the need for staking on paved

F L A T R I D G E P O L E T E N T

The flat ridge pole tent is the most common commercial

tent. They are the least cost to rent, easy to install and can

seat up to 10,000 people. A tension tent supported by

center poles and side poles and anchored using stakes and

guy ropes. It has a flat top "ridge" line. Ends of the tent

slope down to the sidepoles.

Ranging from 20-ft to 100-ft wide, pole tents have a

traditional look and feel and are the easiest to install,

lowest cost and most commonly used event rental tent.

Pricing falls in the $0.32-$0.40 per square foot of ground

coverage for 8-ft side height tents or $0.35-$0.45 per SF

for 10-ft side height tents. While possible to install on

paved lots, pole tents must be staked to provide tension to

stretch and secure the tent. An additional 10-ft area on all

four sides is needed for staking.

Sidewalls come in a number of designs to fit the special design desires of any event. Sidewall installation preparation runs $0.40--$0.45 per linear

foot. Material can be hung by the installation crew or left prepared for fast use. Rental costs vary and should fall within the following:

• 3-FT HALF WALLS rent for $0.20-$0.25 per linear foot.

• STANDARD WHITE SIDEWALL is available in 8-ft ($0.50--$0.60 per linear foot) or 10-ft heights ($0.60--$0.70 per linear foot).

• CATHEDRAL WINDOW SIDEWALL comes in 8-ft heights and rent for $2.00--$2.05 per linear foot.

• BAY WINDOW OR CAFE WINDOW SIDEWALL has a 54-inch clear vinyl window in the upper portion with a solid white lower section and all

surrounded by white support vinyl. It is available in 8-ft ($2.10--$2.15 per linear foot) or 10-ft heights ($2.60--$2.70 per linear foot).

• MESH SCREEN SIDEWALL comes in 8-ft heights and rents for ~$0.50-$.060 per linear foot.

• CLEAR WINDOW SIDEWALL has a 96-in clear vinyl window surrounded by solid white support vinyl. It comes in 8-ft ($2.25--$2.35 per linear foot) or 10-ft heights ($2.85--$2.95 per linear foot).

PORTAFLOOR tent floor is ideal for any of your surfacing needs and can be quickly installed on grass or pavement. Meets ADA

and all health department codes. PORTAFLOOR's modular design allows rolls or panels to be configured to exactly fit any event

layout, as well as providing openings for staging and tent poles. Installed cost is $0.85-$0.95 per square foot. Tent carpeting is

also available for ~$0.65 per square foot but special package pricing can reduce flooring cost by up to 50%. For more information
