The Moroccan economy is, now, one of the most dynamic in the Maghreb and

African regions. The economic will benefit from an expected acceleration, a

predicted growth rate of 4,8%.

The industry contribute nearly 30% of GDP and employs one fifth of the working

population (in 2016). It consists mainly of textiles, leather goods, food

processing, petroleum refining and electronic assembly. New sectors are still

growing: chemistry, automotive equipment, computers, electronics, and the

aeronautics industry.
