Dear Colleagues,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you for a conference on Ambulatory Surgery to be held

nd rdon 2 & 3 September 2011 at Bangalore. The term 'Ambulatory Surgery' is not new.

However, this concept has now changed the entire healthcare delivery. In USA, nearly

70% of all elective surgeries are done in day or short stay format. 'Stand alone'

Ambulatory Surgery Centers have become the most attractive method for doctors,

patients, insurance providers and others concerned. Ambulatory Surgery involves all

branches of surgery, where the patient after surgery is ready for discharge by the

evening or next day. With improvement in surgical techniques, fast tracking of surgery,

good anesthesia, good equipments and efficient care it has become possible to do large

number of surgeries in Ambulatory Surgery. The surgeons need to develop the

confidence and belief in the Ambulatory Surgery concept. There is no compromise in the

safety of surgery. The patients are happy, comfortable and accept early discharge and

enjoy the comfort of their home and family for recovery.

Nova Medical Centers are standalone state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery facilities in

the country with a pan India presence. Many Hospitals have started promoting our

concept in their hospitals.

In this conference, we want to highlight the advantages of the concept and show you

how success can be achieved. The conference will be of benefit and importance to all

surgical specialties, anesthetists, physicians, nurses, administrators, investment

management groups, finance and the support staff. The conference will give a great

opportunity for knowledge sharing, social gathering and networking.

We assure you an informative and enjoyable experience.

Best wishes,

Welcome Message
