16 students, working together for 8 hours, creating glyphs for some 80 letters using the tracks of a BRIO wooden train set. Besides being fun to play with, the many modules in the BRIO Railway System can be combined to create individual characters within the geometric limitations of the tracks. The exercise facilitates the exploration of the design potential and the various possible combinations that create one and the same letter, and how the different letters interact within the font as a whole.
