Spider Monkey rarely seen. This animal is a noisy, large animal and normally gives itself away. But don’t get to close it will break of a heavy branch and throw it at you.
Description
The Black Spider Monkey has two pitch black eyes ,pitch black fur ,one long fury tail ,and four stubby strong black legs.
Location
The Black Spider Monkey is located in the tropical rainforest areas of the Amazon.
Habitat
The Black Spider Monkey sleeps in the top of the branches. Where possible the Black Spider Monkey will run on all four legs in the tree tops. But when there is large gaps between the trees it will jump from tree to tree. On a rare occasion the Black Spider Monkey will set foot on the ground walking two legs and up strait.
Diet
The Black Spider Monkey is normally seen eating leaves ,seeds and twigs but is also seen eating bird eggs.
ReproductionThe Black Spider Monkey mates
once every two years. The female starts mating when it’s four years old. The male starts when it is five years old. After twenty weeks the female will give birth.
Other information
The Black Spider Monkey has a larger brain than Western Monkeys brain.
