BRAZILIAN BUSINESS COUNCIL ON HIV-AIDS PREVENTION
Created in October, 08 1998
by Brazilian Health Ministry
Objective:
STD/AIDS prevention at workplaces by increasing
the participation of the social agents from privatete
areas at conception, implantation and spreading of
prevention policies and programs and by assisting
STD/HIV/AIDS people.
It is a group of big/medium sized
private companies acting in the
wide country driven by an
Executive Committee.

To share the experiences about well-succeeded actions concerning the HIV/AIDSHIV/AIDS epidemic control at the Companies.
To spread projects and studies in response to the epidemic at the companies, inside and outside the workplaces.
To stimulate other companies, concerning the implementation of Prevention Programs targeting:

Objectives
Contact with other companies, spreading the Council actions and offering help for implementation of prevention programs;
Coordination Establishment: Strategical Planning, Communication and Marketing, Legal Affairs, Financial and Documentation;
Creation of a “Databank” containing developed materials, to be used in the implementation of programs by other companies.
